Chirag is passionate about animals. He now teaches owners, pets, gives seminars internationally, writes for popular dog magazines and blogs. His love for their health, behaviour, welfare and teaching people led him to start Domesticated Manners in 2004. Chirag has worked and studied training and behaviour with some of the leading experts around the world including Dr Ian Dunbar, Jean Donaldson, Bob Bailey, Ken Ramirez, Professor Daniel Mills and Nina Bondarenko.

Chirag has a BSc (Hons) in veterinary Sciences from the Royal Veterinary College in London as well as a post graduate certificate at the University of Lincoln in Clinical Animal Behaviour under Professor Daniel Mills and Helen Zulch (Veterinary behaviourists). Chirag also previously work at the University as the head trainer clicker training rats and degus for odour discrimination and indication. Chirag also managed the Training and Behaviour Centre at Dr Roger Mugford's Company of Animals.

Chirag has trained with many different animals including: Dogs, Cats, Chickens (he took clicker trained chickens and preformed in front of Simon Cowell and the other judges on Britain's Got Talent in 2012), Marmoset Monkeys, Raccoons, Ponies, Rats, Degus, Parrots, Fish and others. Chirag currently lives with an African Grey Parrot, a Green Wing Macaw Parrot, a Kelpie, a German Shepherd and his goldfish.

Chirag is also very interested in incorporating TAGteach (teaching with acoustical guidance) when teaching people and recently completed a course to become certified with Theresa Mckeon, Founder of TAGteach.

Chirag also teaches training and behaviour to trainers and behaviourists. This year he is teaching workshops to trainers at Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as teaching seminars in Europe and America.

- PG Cert: Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Animal Behaviour, University of Lincoln, UK.
- BSc (Hons): Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Sciences, Royal Veterinary College, London, UK.
- DipCABT: Advanced Diploma in Practical Aspects of Companion Animal Behaviour and Training, Centre of Applied Pet Ethology (COAPE), UK.
- Internship: Certificate in Dog Aggression, SF/SPCA Dog Trainers Academy, San Francisco, USA.
