Seller Policy

Print   Save is an online marketplace for anything related to dogs, a force-free, modern dog training and a happy living with them. Registered customers can purchase articles as a buyer and/or offer their own products/services for sale as a seller through shops they independently operate. We want to make sure that sellers and buyers have a positive experience on dog-ibox. Please read on to find out more about your rights, as well as what is expected of you, as a seller.

This Seller Policy (“Policy”) is a part of our General Conditions of Use. By becoming a dog-ibox seller, you are agreeing to this Policy and our General Conditions of Use, which we recommend that you read and understand before using As a seller, you carry the responsibility to ensure your sales are processed according to our legal requirements. We recommend every seller seek legal advice.

Please note that dog-ibox reserves the right to remove any listings from our marketplace without prior notice should we feel that these listings are in breach of any law or our Seller Policy. Furthermore, we may apply further sanctions, such as setting a limit on the number of products you may have or the deletion of products already online. Multiple or excessive violations of our terms and conditions may lead to expulsion from our marketplace.

1. Representation and behavior on dog-ibox

We want all sellers, buyers, visitors and customers to be treated with respect, kindness and fairness. Offensive language, defamation and inappropriate language in general have no place here. We value transparency and ask sellers and buyers to honestly and accurately represent themselves, their items, and their business.

By selling on, sellers will:

  1. Adhere to all applicable laws and abide by all dog-ibox policies;

  2. Treat everybody fair and with respect and will not engage in any offering of products/services that harm the force-free and happy living of a dog or its owner;

  3. Provide and maintain honest, accurate information about the business, products/services offered and the applicable terms and conditions;

  4. Honor the terms, conditions and policies set out by you, the seller, and by dog-ibox;

  5. Never misrepresent themselves;

  6. Not cancel an order to continue the sale privately with the buyer or provide external links and contact information to attempt to attract sales outside of dog-ibox;

  7. Respect the intellectual property of others, including patent, trademark and copyrights;

  8. Not engage in any attempt to avoid fees due to dog-ibox;

  1. Not create duplicate shops on and not coordinate pricing with other sellers; and

  2. Not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or any other characteristic protected under applicable law.

If there are concrete indications of violations of our policies, we reserve the right to delete or block your products partly or completely without prior notice. Multiple or excessive violations will lead to dismissal from the dog-ibox marketplace.

2. What can be sold on dog-ibox is an online marketplace or “Site” for anything related to dogs, a force-free, modern dog training and a happy living with them. Buyers come here to purchase products and services that they might not find anywhere else or that they simply love to purchase from the convenience of their home.

  • Anything is possible as long as it doesn’t harm in any way the life of a dog/animal or his owner and no force may be used/applied. The dog-ibox product categories are continuously evolving and we encourage you to contact us, should you not find a suitable category for your offer. We will gladly add a new category.

  • Downloads/E-Books/Audio/Video: this category is great for education, continuing education and entertainment. There is one exception: only dog-ibox is allowed to offer webinars.

  • Unique products: we love all things unique, handmade, vintage and not mass-produced. The seller has to ensure that no copyrights are violated throughout the production, offering and sale process.

  • Manufactured products: products of commercial origin can be listed here, even in large quantities. A seller acting as a reseller must possess written permission which documents the agreement that he is permitted to act as a reseller, and you must be able to produce this document upon request. The seller needs to comply with any local and state law and may not infringe on any other person’s or entity’s right to sell that product/service.

3. What CANNOT be sold on dog-ibox

Anything that cannot be sold due to legal reasons is prohibited on dog-ibox. dog-ibox reserves the right to remove any listings from our marketplace without prior notice should we feel that these listings are in breach of any law or any dog-ibox policy. dog-ibox may suspend or terminate your account for any violations. Even if it otherwise meets our policies, any item that violates our intellectual property policies is not allowed to be sold on dog-ibox. Buyers may flag listings that appear to violate our policies for review.

The following list of prohibited items is not complete, and as a result it is the seller’s sole responsibility to ensure he is permitted to offer such items for sale:

  • Webinars: this product category is exclusively reserved to dog-ibox only;

  • Products/services that in any way harm the life of a dog or its owner or force fear to the dog (e.g. pinch collars, e-collars, choke collars, spray collars, anti-bark collars, but also Fisher Discs and correction harnesses,) or offend common decency;

  • Weapons and ammunition of any kind, stolen goods, illegal drugs, toxic substances and propaganda items;

  • Textiles with incorrect labelling: textile labeling regulations place the obligation on the seller of textiles to provide information on the materials used in the production of their products;

  • Products/services harmful to underage persons: sellers must ensure that only adults (18+ years old) are permitted to purchase product restricted to adult handling only. Sellers may not publish any content, whether pictures or descriptions, that may be harmful to young persons;

  • Forgeries, imitations of branded/copyrighted products: it is prohibited by law to offer or publish items that carry a brand ́s name or logo for which you do not own the rights. It is also prohibited to advertise an item as "similar" to a copyrighted item. Furthermore, it is not permitted to list items carrying a design that has been copied illegally;

  • Films, music and pictures as copies: Selling copies of films, music, photographs and educational material is prohibited unless sellers disclose in the listing that they are authorized for the (re-)sale. Copyright law applies and sellers are advised to seek legal advice; and

  • Electronic devices and toys: sellers need to check the items ́ legitimacy and must ensure to have all required certificates (e.g. CE-certificate) and, if necessary, marked with detailed instructions, safety notes and precautions.

    The legal requirements of another country may apply if you offer products/services for sale outside of your own country. We highly recommend that sellers seek legal advice. If a certain product, service, or behavior of a seller does not match our core principles, we reserve the right to delete the offending item and the right to caution, block or even dismiss the person(s) concerned.

4. Privacy and Protecting Personal Information

You are responsible for protecting customers’ personal information you receive or process. This means that, to the extent you use dog-ibox, or to the extent your local jurisdiction requires it, you must maintain a privacy policy for your shop that is consistent with the privacy terms set forth in dog-ibox’s General Conditions of Use (including this Seller Policy) and dog-ibox’s Privacy Policy. Such laws may require that you post, and comply with, your own privacy policy, which must be

accessible to dog-ibox customers you interact with and compatible with this policy and dog-ibox’s General Conditions of Use.

When you sell on, you may communicate with other customers or have transactions with buyers. This means you may process personal information (for example, buyer name, email address, and shipping address) and may be considered an independent and separate “data controller” under EU law or other local regulations. If you disclose personal information such as a buyer’s name and email address without the buyer’s consent, you are responsible for that unauthorized disclosure. Sellers are solely responsible for knowing the standard of consent required in any given instance.

5. Providing Great Customer Service

We expect sellers to provide the highest level of customer service. Sellers need to be aware of each country’s laws surrounding shipping, cancellations, returns, and exchanges. We recommend seeking legal advice and familiarize yourself with the laws of your own country and those of your buyers’ countries (e.g. buyers in the European Union (EU) may be entitled to a 14-day “right of withdrawal” after receiving an item, during which they may return an item for any reason).

dog-ibox has a seller review system where buyers can rate the customer experience. dog-ibox is constantly tracking these reviews in order to secure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Should we be notified of multiple complaints related to the same seller, dog-ibox reserves the right to issue a warning or even remove the seller from our marketplace without prior notice.

By selling on dog-ibox, sellers agree to:

  1. Respond to requests and orders in a timely manner (ideally no later than 24 hours);

  2. Honor shipping and processing times;

  3. Resolve disagreements or disputes directly with the buyer. dog-ibox asks buyers to contact a seller directly and attempt to resolve any outstanding issues before contacting dog-ibox for assistance. It is important that sellers clearly define their Terms & Conditions and respond to communication from buyers in a timely manner (ideally within 24 hours);

  4. Handling cancellations: if seller is unable to complete an order, you must notify the buyer and cancel the order immediately. You may cancel a transaction if:

    1. the buyer did not pay;

    2. both you and the buyer agree to cancel the transaction prior to shipment, and you have issued the buyer a full refund;

    3. you have decided to refuse service to the buyer based on seller’s and/or dog-ibox’s General Conditions of Use (including this Seller Policy); or

    4. the buyer did not receive the item(s) ordered, even though you provided proof of shipping.

5. Respond to requests for returns, and exchanges: if the buyer already submitted a payment, sellers must issue a full refund and keep proof of any refunds in the event a dispute arises. Exchanges shall be offered and delivered within reason and limiting the time the buyer has to wait for the exchanged items to a minimum.

6. SellerFees

Sellers may be charged for using some of dog-ibox’s services. By opening a dog-ibox seller shop, you are agreeing to this policy, to have the selling commission deducted and to pay any applicable fees. Any action by a seller to avoid paying a fee is considered fee avoidance and is strictly prohibited by dog-ibox. dog-ibox’s fees do not include any withholding taxes that might apply in your home country. You are required to pay dog-ibox the full amount of our fees and may not deduct any applicable withholding taxes from that amount.

Selling Commission

When you make a sale through, you will be charged a selling commission of 15% of the sales price plus a fee on a per item basis of $0.95. dog-ibox deducts the applicable selling commission percentage and the item fees prior to transferring the remaining balance to your seller account. If you sell from the US or Canada, the commission will not apply to the shipping cost, sales tax, Goods and Services Tax, or Harmonized Sales Tax, unless you have included those charges in your listing price. If you sell from anywhere other than the US and Canada, the transaction fee will apply to the listing price (which should include any applicable taxes), but will not apply to the shipping cost.

Advertising Fees

dog-ibox offers different forms of paid advertising for which separate fees apply (e.g. homepage banner advertising, promoted listings, seller of the month). Advertising fees vary by opportunity and will be clearly outlined before you commit to purchasing an ad. Advertising can be purchased and the fees are payable at the time of commitment.

7. Currency

All transactions on are ultimately processed in U.S. Dollars. All money transfers to and from dog-ibox are also paid in U.S. Dollars.

Prices entered in any non-U.S. Dollar currency are being displayed that way and in the background converted to other currencies using the app Any non-U.S. Dollar prices shown on dog- ibox are for display purposes only and might vary from the final transaction price (currency exchange rates used by PayPal or Amazon Pay might vary from

8. Taxes and customs

You are responsible for collecting and paying any taxes and custom tariffs associated with using and making sales using dog-ibox’s services. We recommend you seek legal advice to ensure you adhere to all applicable laws

If you sell physical goods on and reside in the U.S. or Canada, you have the option of either including applicable taxes in your listing prices, or excluding applicable taxes from your listing prices and then using our sales tax tool to calculate the tax owed on each sale. If you sell physical goods on and reside outside of the U.S. and Canada, you need to include all applicable taxes in your listing prices.
