Welcome Letter
In the past few years of practicing dog training, I realized I needed a tool that could help me plan exercises, manage training sessions, and keep my customer database up-to-date. More than that, I realized I was losing track of important details – some invoices didn't go out on time, or I forgot about incoming payments. So I made the decision to create a solution – together with two partners and the help and support of many fellow professional dog trainers, in 2011 I created dog-ibox as a web-based solution.
A good dog trainer:
• does not use any methods that can harm the health of the dog (ie pinch collar, remote electronic collar, ) nor uses physical or mental pain to teach the dog and its owner;
• always acts with patience, respect & honesty;
• practices training sessions in small groups;
• creates individual exercises for each owner/dog team and evolves training goals in line with their continuous development;
• supports the maxim „violence is never the right choice“;
• continuously develops his/her knowledge and is always open to new techniques;
• is broad-minded and doesn't discriminate against dogs or owners;
• applies the most recent scientific research in learning theory;
• highly values fun during training sessions and strives for both dog and owner to have a great time.
